ClockIn Terms of Service
Effective August 31, 2026
These Terms govern ClockIn, operated by CommPartHS, LLC. By creating an account or using ClockIn, you agree to them. If you are under 18, review them with a parent or guardian. Do not use ClockIn if you are under 15.
1. What ClockIn does
ClockIn helps students discover opportunities, apply to employers, and—when a school connection is separately verified—manage work-based-learning activity. ClockIn is not the employer, does not make hiring decisions, does not guarantee a job, and is not a substitute for a school, parent, employer, or government agency checking permits, duties, wages, schedules, or workplace safety.
2. Accounts
Provide accurate information, use only your own account, and protect your credentials. School codes may only be used by the student to whom they were issued. If a school provisioned a second ClockIn login for you, you may prove and combine it with your self-created account; the duplicate login is disabled and the records are consolidated where they do not conflict. You may delete a consumer account in the app. School, employer, legal, safety, and audit records may have separate retention duties as described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Student rules
Do not submit false applications or hours; impersonate another person; harass anyone; upload unlawful or harmful material; evade an employer block or suspension; share another person's private information; or use ClockIn for an illegal or unsafe purpose. Provide a reference only with that person's permission. Meet employers only through ordinary, verifiable business channels. Never pay an employer to apply, buy gift cards, wire money, or share a password or one-time code.
4. Employer rules
Employers must represent a real organization, pass ClockIn review before publishing, post truthful pay and duties, use applicant data only for legitimate hiring, and comply with federal and state wage, discrimination, safety, work-permit, scheduling, supervision, recordkeeping, and youth-employment laws. Employers may not charge applicants, solicit sexual or adult services, advertise hazardous work to minors, request unnecessary student data, move minors into unmonitored personal communication, or retaliate against a safety report.
5. Content, reports, blocks, and enforcement
Users retain rights in content they submit and grant us the limited permission needed to host, review, transmit, and moderate it. Students can report a posting and block an employer in the app. We may review, reject, remove, preserve as evidence, or disclose content when reasonably necessary for safety or law; pause a posting; suspend an employer or user; and contact a school, guardian, employer, platform provider, or authority when needed to protect a person or comply with law.
6. School connections
Naming a school does not connect it. A school relationship becomes active only through a verified roster, claim code, or staff invitation. A school does not automatically receive application or rejection history. State-reportable records require the school's own confirmation.
7. Disclaimers and liability
ClockIn is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that every employer, posting, applicant, school record, or outcome is accurate or safe. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CommPartHS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
8. Ohio law and changes
Ohio law governs these Terms, without regard to conflicts rules. Courts located in Ohio have jurisdiction unless applicable law requires otherwise. We may update the Terms and will post a new effective date; material changes may require renewed acceptance.
